Great Way To See Tokyo

We had Hikari as our tour guide and spent a wonderful morning walking around the fish market and trying all sorts of Japanese delicious foods. We also visited a temple and learned about the washing process you must do before entering. I especially enjoyed the sashimi and learning about the different parts of a tuna. This was a very informative tour and Hikari was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

Hikari was a great guide. There were 4 of us on the tour and we were able to taste all sorts of food from dried fish, pickles, fish cake on a stick, sashimi and sushi. She took us to some great shops like a knife shop that used to make swords for samurai but changed to knives when that period was over. My daughter and I returned to our hotel with all sorts of unique gifts for friends.

A fabulous tour of Tsukiji fish market. My partner and I rarely book tours such as this because we always assume we can get the same experience doing it ourselves. How wrong we were! Our guide, Fumiko, was extremely knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting facts about the produce and history of the market. She was very accommodating to all members of the group and made sure everyone had visited the stalls they wanted to see. She also picked out a selection of fabulous sushi representing the best of Japan for us in the restaurant. Would highly recommend this tour!
