Excellent tour guide to get a general idea

We came to Japan with some awareness about the culture and language but had no idea how to navigate the city and the transportation system. Aside from showing us cool spots around Tokyo, Mark Simons from the Tokyo private tour made sure to provide a versatile palette of activities and things to do around in Tokyo. He also went above and beyond to make sure we know where some essential spots are in , and how to access the rail system. Definitely worth the full price

Mark was knowledgeable, friendly and adaptable. He brought us to a very nice lunch place. Also, he answered all of our many questions diligently. We would highly recommend him for future tours in Japan.

Our family of four, two adults and twin boys 12 years, had a fantastic day out in Tokyo with our guide Mark. Funny, knowledgeable and with ability to quickly adapt the schedule to accommodate for our needs.

The absolute highlight for the boys was when Mark was able to find a hidden second hand Pokémon card shop, well off the beaten track that had the precious card collection (only available in Japan). we had been looking for all over the day before! Certainly not on the regular schedule, but definitely a great find, and a very memorable experience!

We can absolutely recommend this trip for a stress- free, great way of seeing Tokyo!
