What To Expect

Ogose-machi

We will show the mountains, temples, shrines and waterfalls of rural Japan. We pay a visit to the Dragon Taming Temple were the monk has telepathy with the carp in his pond beside the temple. Enjoy the Japanese countryside.

Kuroyama Santaki Trout Fishing

After visiting the Dragon taming temple we stop and take a walk to Kuroyama waterfall. We can stop to eat treat or the more delicious iwana fish after returning from the waterfall. The fish will be of extra cost.

Hanno

Enjoy the Bamboo temple deep in the mountains. It is an ancient temple dedicated to the Buddhist king Gozu, a king with the head of a cow and the body of a man. Throughout the temple complex are very timid wild deer and monkeys. The are watching you but are very Shi.

After the bamboo temple we visit Ne no gongen shrine nearby. It is at the top of the mountains and offers beautiful views for hikers. The shrine is for praying for healthy legs and backs.
