What To Expect

Nishishinjuku
You will learn sake 101 (e.g. brewing techniques, history, and labels etc) in a small group with a sake sommelier in 2.5 hours. You will meet the host, a sake sommelier in Nishi Ogikubo where it is known as a "drunker's heaven" to learn and sip your way through sake. This neighborhood is also lesser known among tourists. During the workshop, you will try more than 6 different types of sake to discover your go-to sake and create your own tasting chart. Enjoy sake while tasting locally sourced snacks paired with sake to experience how sake supplements your meal. If applicable, meet Japanese sake lovers in Tokyo and learn some local tips.
