Overview

Fuji ShibaSakura Festival is the highlight in late April and May. Don't miss the splendid view of Mt. Fuji and the land covered with pink phlox flowers!

On this tour, using our own van, minibus or coach, we will pick you up at a hotel or apartment located in Tokyo City except Adachi-ku, Arakawa-ku, Edogawa-ku, Katsushika-ku and Kita-ku at 8am to 8.45am, and proceed to the tour for Mt. Fuji.

First, we take you to Fuji ShibaSakura Festival. Take nice photos of the pink garden and Mt. Fuji, and enjoy local foods.

And then, we go up to Mt. Fuji 5th station (2,305m above sea level), look around sourniver shops, and if you wish, visit Komitake Shinto Shrine. After that, we go back to Tokyo.

Actually, it takes long time for driving, however, it is worth to visit. The tour is ended in Shinjuku station, Tokyo around 6.30pm.

A long day but totally worth it! Think again if it's Golden Week
Debra_M, 16-06-2019
It was Golden Week so the bus trip was much much longer than usual. Our bus driver and guide were excellent and went out of their way to give us a memorable experience.
Because of the very very heavy traffic, it took nearly 7 hours to get to the Flower Festival, which was great by the way, Mt Fuji was in view nearly the whole day! We didn't have time then to get to the 5th Station, were were disappointed but we were taken to a Lake where there was a beautiful garden and fabulous views again of Mt Fuji.
So the tip... expect a very long day during Golden Week with an amended itinerary.
Nevertheless, we made friends in the bus, ate some very different foods from the stops along the way. Thank you to the Driver, he was great!
Shubasakura Festival visit was really good

We are from the US and were visiting Tokyo. We were unsure of how to plan a trip to Mount Fuji. We found this trip and would highly recommend to international visitors. Booking was easy online with a quick confirmation. The operator was flexible with picking us up from the Tokyo Marriott even though it was not one of the standard pickup points. Yuki was our tour guide and he was prompt in arriving to pick us up on the day of the trip and had a clear board with our names so it was easy to see in in the hotel lobby. He tools us in a nice clean mini van to the meeting point and then we traveling in a comfortable bus with a small group(6 people) to Mount Fuji. There was a quick rest stop and the ride was smooth. We were also given some prepared notes about the festival and other hits. Yuri was so kind, polite and accommodating. He even gave us some hints on other tourist sighting seeing options for us to explore. The logistics were simple and on time with regards to stopping and visiting sites and the operator even took some family photos of us. We got back to Tokyo a bit ahead of time. There is no doubt in my mind this was the best option if you want to visit Mount Fuji.
Wonderful tour from a wonderful tour company.

The tour was great and msde best by the politeness and care of the tour operator. My only suggestion is be prepared fir a LONG LONG drive stuck in traffic if you book on a national holiday! But this is not the fault of the company. Check the traffic on the highway from Tokyo to Mt Fuji (there is only one major one). We spent 7 hours in traffiic one way!!! BUT when we got there, it was beautiful and the tour company made it up by taking us on a detour for better views. Only other suggestion, is it would have been nicer with some commentary on the tour.

So just check traffic and be prepared fir a LONG journey. Tour company took us back to hotel as compensation when they did not have to, due to traffic and lost time. They did not have to do this. So go when it is not a national holiday!
Lovely Tour

Over all an excellent tour. Good value for money. Our Guide was very helpful & obliging. Unfortunately cloud hid Mt Fiji for most of the time.
Great but....

DO NOT go on a stat holiday via a bus tour, or you will wind up literally bumper-to-bumper for a gruelling 7 hours from Tokyo. Not a word of a lie. Highway pitstops are also jam-packed! There is only one major highway betwee Tokyo and Mt Fuji! Also watch the weather. We did get lucky but sometimes its cloudy.
