Overview

・Stroll around Fukiware Falls which is known as "Niagara Falls in the East". The huge rock was eroded into a V shape; river water flows over and cascade down with splashes!

What To Expect

Fukiware Falls consist of rocks eroded gradually from more than 10,000 years ago. The spectacular falls are seven-meter high and 30-meter wide, merging to form a V shape. As you walk the promenade along the streams that all the way leads to these falls, you will see the overwhelming flow cascade down into a large drain.

Tambara Kogen

Tambara Ski Park is located to the north of Numata city in the northern region of Gunma Prefecture. It is close to Tambara Dam and lake. Tambara Ski Park has been operating since 1988. In summer the Lavendar Park at Tambara is popular. Snow of here will last from December to April, and it can be a nice opportunity to see the snow landscape when you travel in Japan during this period, and have an unforgettable experience of snow playing!
