Overview

-Start your journey from Sensoji temple. We will turn our step into the main spot in Asakusa, Senso-ji temple, exploring the Nakamise Street that has 300-year history and sample street food.

-Enjoy a local favorite, Monjya-yaki in the backstreets of Asakusa-
we'll stop by a favorite monjyayaki (a local dish made with seasoned flour and many other ingredients) place in the backstreets of Asakusa, along Hoppy Street. There, your guide will instruct you on how to cook monjayaki, and you can enjoy eating it with everyone else in the group tour.

Fantastic experience

I loved that we felt completely off the beaten track with this walking tour. We would never have found these areas on our own. Risa was so knowledgeable and informative. A great experience!

The tour guide did an excellent job. We enjoyed every bit of the tour because it was well explained.
Skip it. Do it yourself.

Our guide was fun and very friendly. The foodie part of the tour was OK, we have tried some delicious street food, and had Japanese pancakes for lunch. However the cultural part of the tour was a total miss; maybe because it was a Sunday and Asakusa temple area was over crowded, it was hard to walk around to the extend it was unpleasant. Guide was not very informative and did not share anything about the history of the area. Rickshaw ride although I was glad to experience it - it was in the middle of Tokyo busy streets. Did not make much sense. All together money not well spent. Skip it.
